Mary Popham’s fiction, nonfiction, poetry, essays and book reviews have appeared in the Courier-Journal; ForeWord Reviews; Appalachian Heritage and The Louisville Review. She has produced short plays and published short stories in anthologies, holds an MFA from Spalding University, and is an active member in three writers groups. In the fall of 2013 she will have an essay published in This I Believe: Kentucky; and also this fall, her novel Back Home in Landing Run published by MotesBooks will be released. She is currently writing a collection of short fiction.

    Just finished, Back Home in Landing Run. I live in Louisville, but as my sister and i would put it, back home in Alabama, it was a giant bowl of warm peach cobbler. With ice cream. Delicious.
